As a highly talented hairdresser, Christine has spent years perfecting her bridal styles, becoming a beloved choice among brides-to-be. How long have you been a bridal hair stylist?
I have been a Bridal Hair Specialist for many years, my experience & knowledge is testament to the quality of my Bridal work.
What’s your favourite thing about your work?
I live & breathe weddings. I think creating Dream Wedding Hair for my Brides. I absolutely love & adore my job !
Do you offer a bridal trial? If so, how many looks do you normally do?
Bridal trials are an optional service to my booked Brides.
Should brides bring inspiration pictures to their trial?
I have a private file set up for each of my Brides, so they can forward to me Inspiration pictures pre Trial. This works as a good mood board for me pre meeting & working with each of my Brides Dream looks.
Are you available to travel to any venue?
I travel to all venues/locations that are approx 1.5 hrs journey from Cork.
Are there any hair care tips you have for brides leading up to their wedding?
Yes ,invest in the correct shampoo & conditioner for your hair. Avoid treatments, oils in your hair the week of your wedding . Get your last hair-cut/ trim 4-6 wks pre wedding day. Plan your hair colour dates with your own hairdresser.
What do you predict will be a big bridal hair trend in 2025?
Softer, I think bigger softer waves & curls. Softer up-styles, I think our Hollywood wave is here to stay, but in a softer version also.
Are you also normally available to do other members of the wedding party, such as the mother of the bride and bridesmaids?
Yes- I do full Bridal Parties.
How long does a bridal hair style typically take?
Timings can only be determined by each style/look for example: Bride ( 1.5hr -prep, set, style ,head-piece , veil, finishing touches, Bridesmaids (approx 45 min -depending on style request, Mum (45 min- depending on style request & apply head-piece.
If a bride wants accessories, do you provide the accessory options or should the bride purchase them separately?
I can provide sample pieces during Hair Trial . I can recommend to my Bride where she can purchase accessories.
What is your favourite look to do?
My Signature Looks are Hollywood, Glamour Wave, Power Ponytails. I love it all.
